The Instructor Operating Station, or IOS consists of a AMD K6-400 computer and a touch screen monitor that is networked with the host computer.  This program allows the instructor to control the sim, set weather, reposition the aircraft (both on ground and in the air), and introduce failures along with other features.

The program was written in Visual Basic and also uses Enrico Schiratti's Quickmap software to provide the moving map portion of the program.

Here are some screenshots:

Master Index.  Most other menus are accessed through here or the right hand icon screen

This is the Quick Access menu.  From here I can adjust the fuel, quick-start the engines, or pushback the aircraft.  Some of the functions pictured are not operating yet.

Here's a pic of the IOS running with Enrico's Quickmap.  This map is launched by pressing the "AREA MAP" button at the right of the screen.

This is the malfunction index, listing the malfunctions by aircraft system.

Here's an example of the Aircraft General Page.  In this instance, I've selected the Forward Entry Switch Fail malfunction.
